The University's legal liability for negligence resulting in bodily injury to other persons or destruction of  property arising out of University activities.

The University of Western Australia, its employees and governing body, honorary research fellows, members of University committees whether or not employees of the University, students undertaking placement or work experience programmes that are requirements of their course, and all related companies and organisations of the University including those acquired or incorporated during the policy term.

UWA Work Experience Students

Public Liability insurance extends to include enrolled students on work experience but only if the enrolled students are undertaking work experience that is a required part of their course and authorised by the Head of School.
 

Limits:

Exclusions:

This policy does not extend to cover staff involved in private outside-consulting work or work experience that is not a part of course requirements unless it has been authorised by the Head of School.

Special Conditions: 

Should you receive a request for details of the University's insurance from an organisation, the request should be forwarded immediately to the Insurance and Risk Management Officer for an official response.
